The major markets in the Nordics have been impacted to varying degress by the financial turmoil in the euro zone. Oslo and the three main metropolitan areas of Sweden have remained resilient, whereas Helsinki and Copenhagen are experiencing a tougher situation. 2013 is likely to be a challenging year for most markets, although forecasts for Oslo remain very positive. Now would be an appropriate point to review and rationalize office costs. One way of doing this might be to adapt working practives and reduce the number of permanent workspaces.
