Chris Zissis

Chief Information Officer, EMEA

Chris is responsible for technology, data and information management across Europe, Middle East and Africa.

With over 20 years’ experience, he has been at the forefront of the fintech and proptech revolutions. In 2008 Chris came to the UK as Senior Technology Partner for the Retail bank at Barclays, after an early career in Johannesburg in consulting technology roles at PwC, IBM and Barclays Bank.

He swapped banking for buildings in 2010, joining DTZ (now Cushman & Wakefield) as Group Chief Information Officer and member of the Executive Committee. In addition to helping recapitalise the business for acquisition, Chris drove the technology transformation and platform strategy for the merger of several services under the DTZ banner into one global business.

He joined JLL in 2013 with a remit for technology, taking on the additional data disciplines in 2017. He also has global CIO accountability for the Capital Markets business.

A recognised Premiere 100 Technology Leader and CIO 100 honouree, Chris is also a regular guest speaker at industry conferences covering digitisation, technology transformation, hyper-connectivity and security.

He is married with two teenage sons who share their father’s passion for deep sea swimming. He also dabbles in producing premium olive oil from a grove which has been in his family for four generations.
