JLL Shaping Workday Experience
The results of our new national survey show that hybrid work has come to stay
In the new world of work, four hybrid work profiles are emerging.
It has been 14 months since the first pandemic restrictions were introduced around the world. The pandemic has significantly accelerated the changes in working life and the results of our survey confirm that there will be no going back to the old ways.
Finnish employees have successfully adapted to remote working. Our research reveals that up to 32% feel they work better remotely than in the office. Employees have managed to avoid the downsides associated with remote working in general, such as isolation and lengthening of working hours. They have managed to save time on commuting and maintain a better balance between work and leisure.
After forced remote working, Finns have a growing desire for added flexibility and hybrid ways of working. The lived in reality has brought with it many possibilities. New routines have created new values that people want to stick to.
Our study highlights four different hybrid employee profiles: traditional office worker, adventure traveller, health enthusiast, and free soul. Finland clearly has fewer traditional office workers and substantially more adventure travellersthan the other countries that were studied.*
In our report, we compare the results of our national study with the results of JLL’s global study.
